Freaky Frugalite

We recently celebrated my daughter’s birthday. I found this incredible stuff in my grocery store for her party. OH MY GOSH this is fabulous!

I love berries– anything berries– and this ice cream tasted like real berries. It is good. You’ll notice we cleaned out the carton. Heh. This could possibly become habit-forming! I may have to consider taking those top diet pills I hear about! Eek!

It’s not icy and crunchy, like other sherbets are. It’s creamy and even a little chewy. That’s the only slightly negative thing I have to say. But it didn’t stop us from eating it. And eating it. And eating it. Glorious stuff. Mmmm.

One of my favorite “quirky, freaky” blogs on the Internet is My Interesting Files. The posts are always full of the freaky, and are never mundane! One of the most recent posts was about cool USB gadgets. Here’s one that I know I could use; it’s a USB monitor that alerts you when you are too close to your computer monitor.

I’m amazed at all the burgeoning UBS gadgets out there now. There are ink pens/jump drives, lights, fans, blenders, shredders, air conditioning shirts! My question is: won’t all these powered gadgets kill your laptop?!

Well, I’m making progress on this (still) new blog! I’ve signed up for two wonderful new blogging communities, Parent Reviewers (which I’m looking forward to posting for) and PayU2Blog, which is a great way to make a little money and still own your own blog! I’m sporting some new badges in the sidebar. The only thing about PU2Blog is that sometimes they want me to link to things like mesothelioma, and I don’t even know what that is!! But it’s an enjoyable hobby and with the money I’m making, I’m able to buy all the groceries for my family of six! How’s that?!
