Entrecards

drops

bananaguitar

I’ve been trying very hard to get 300 drops into my Entrecard account for this blog since mid-August, and I’ve been doing it! This is a thrilling sight to me! Wooo! I know, some of you will think I am nuts, lol. It’s hard work, and boy oh boy do I wish I had high-speed Internet. I haven’t been as consistent with my other blogs. How have you guys been doing?

I am getting about 20 drops per day. At one point my EC banner was higher on the page, but I noticed no change when I moved it down.

    Take Care,

    Michael

for about 4 successive days i dropped 300 but stopped,i was getting to tied up on the internet and lost focus on what was more important, i didnt get to clean the house as much as i wanted to and i have kids to look after. dont get me wrong if i have time i try to drop to the limit.

But congratulations are in order for you its hard keeping that up and i upload you for your dedication.

i strongly agree that dropping ec is totally a hard tasks. It take a lot of time but since ec has a big part on blogging it must be on the top of emergency to our daily activity. i sometimes hit to the maximum if my connection is fast and no other chores to do so. however, to get into the max is rewarding, we gain more visitors and boost the traffic, so it pains me a lot if i miss dropping up to the limitations.:(

Keep up the good work of dropping! it’s worth it!:)

Congrats!!! I am do the same thing, drop 300 per day. It’s a time consuming task but I feel that it has paid off for me. Hopefully you feel the same. Once again, congratulations!

I remember the days when I actually dropped 300 a day. Now I am averaging right around 30 a day. Maybe it is time to get back on track…

I have been trying hard to get 300 drips a day and yes it is hard work, I was doing well till I had to go away for a few days. Some people kept dropping by but a lot stopped.
Is EC the only way you drive traffic here or do you use other ways?

Keep up the good work I will keep dropping by,

WOW – that’s great. I have NO time at all to get 300 drops. I’m usually excited when I get 50!

  12. Mabel Says:

    i’m a dedicated dropper too… i wish we’d get 300 drops back everyday too! ;)

  13. wendy Says:

i don’t think its not nuts at all. I feel kinda happy to when I completed my 300 drops per day for the month of august. I am sure many are the same way in entrecard =) congrats and happy blogging!!

How on earth do you manage that without high speed Internet? I just stripped a lot of scripts off of my blog last week because I thought it was loading too slowly with broadband.

    You’ve got dedication, for sure.

As for me, I generally range between 200 to 300 per day, depending on how busy I am.

  15. Ana Says:

Oh, I am dropping 300 every day although sometimes it’s really hard work, especially if I actually don’t have the time for it.
When still being in Egypt sometimes our Internet cut so I had to drop with 32K… that was horrible and took me hours!

  16. Jade Says:

I try to drop as much as I can- but you. You are amazing!

  17. shiela Says:

you are very good. i do drop as well about 900 in my 4 blogs but not everyday due to my full time job.

    more power to you!

  18. Matt Oxley Says:

300 drops on dial up internet? wow…kudos to you for patience

  19. Toni Says:

Way to go! I have reached 300 a few times but most days I just can’t do it. I just get as many in there as I can…

I was stuck with my feet up for weeks last month (back injury) so I had plenty of time to drop cards and miss out on the world’s activities. :-p There’s a silver lining to everything. :)

I don’t have dial-up, I have “budget” DSL which is something like 354mbps or something. I’d really like to get FIOS, but my area doesn’t have the service yet.

Sometimes I go to my local library to drop cards. They have a really fast connection and I can drop 900 cards in less than 2 hours! :)

  21. Greg Says:

Great on the 300 drops a day, but then out of those 300 drops how many of the blogs do you actually read? or even start to read?

If 300 people a day dropped on your blog but none of those 300 actually read your blog, would you have gained anything? If yes then please explain what you have gained.

If everyone on EC just drops and doesn’t read the blogs then EC would be pointless, as a blogger I would rather you didn’t drop on my blog at all if you’re not going to read and then subscribe if you liked what you read.

  22. Kathy Says:

I drop 300 as well. I hated to see a break in my chart during a long weekend when I took a vacation. I’m amazed you can do that without high-speed. At least you said it wasn’t dial-up. I bet it’s impossible to drop 300 on that! Can you imagine?

  23. emzpie Says:

I maintain to drop 300 ec per day,,,its really a hard work indeed..

  24. kbguy Says:

Is it important to drop lots and lots of entre cards when all you wanted is somebody to genuinely read your blog and return again and again.
