This is a great little machine for a child or for a traveler. 4GB hard drive is not a lot of space– I recommend you use an SD memory card for extra storage (the Asus will see it as another drive). My little Asus Eee has been running without any problems for almost a year now, and my son loves it. And I don’t have to worry if he’s a little rough with it– these netbooks do not have moving parts– the hard drive is flash memory– so it’s a great computer for a kid to carry around. We use it for homework and when we travel, but my son also loves some of the games. I personally like the typing game that’s on there.
