I used to go to playgroups or playgrounds and marvel at how most of the other moms were perfectly dressed with done up hair and not one speck of food remnants on their clothes. I can't make it two seconds without my son wiping his face on my shirt, pulling my hair, or expecting me to chase him. I used to care but now I don't. I think as long as you have fun with your kids, that's all that matters. I am definitely a ‘real’ mom.
