They have treated her terribly, along with dragging her daughter into it in the meanest way possible. Hunting is the way our ancestors brought home food for their families and there's nothing wrong with it. Just because she hunts doesn't mean she doesn't like animals - game animals were put on earth for a reason - for man to eat. I agree with you completely.
