Wow. And I thought that having a dozen blogs would make things busy!
I got a job! A “real” job! Ya gotta love the Internet– I can make as much money at home as I can working at a cash register part-time. I am working as a freelance writer for an online publishing company. I can work at my own time, at my own pace, and earn a pretty good paycheck every day. Thank you, Lord!
So.. I am a busy lady. I started up four new blogs about a month ago, plus I maintain the current ones. I love blogging, it’s so much fun. Sometimes there’s a lot of pressure when it comes to doing sponsored posts, but I’ve been at it for two years and I *think* I have been able to maintain a balance between making my blogs somewhat entertaining and pleasant to read while at the same time mentioning products or services. It’s been a great experience learning about database and blog management, too, which helps me immensely with my new writing job (which is mostly writing articles on “How To” do things).
I want to remind you that if any of you have questions or dilemmas on how to do things pertaining to blogging, technology, or computers, feel free to ask me. My blog, The Older Geek, is developing and will become a portal of how to’s and advice on such topics.

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.
