I love the Chinese language. Seriously. Can’t understand a word of it, but I do like it. Oh, wait– I do know a little bit! We learned a few Chinese phrases when we read about Gladys Aylward, missionary to the Mandarins. I wrote about it here.

I love PayU2Blog. It’s a great company and they make blogging fun (and profitable!). And I think I love them even more because they picked ME and my BLOG to participate in the renowned, highly-acclaimed, paparazzi-chased PayU2Blog Blog Olympics. This is SO much better than going to China!

I won $100 for being picked to play! How cool is that!? And now I have the considerable honor of choosing two competitors in the Badminton championship. The athletes look like lean, mean, birdie-popping machines. Hmm. It’s a good thing that I am familiar with the Badminton sport. I played it frequently as a young lassie, and I will humbly say that I beat my little brother EVERY SINGLE TIME. So I know a good swing when I see one. And looking at the videos of the athletes wanting to represent me, I decided to choose using the age-old, highly accomplished, pseudo-professional method: I flipped coins.

Thus, I extend my golden scepter to:

DEREK and PATRICK to play for the Freaky Frugalite. One of them will be chosen to play for me in the event.

LOL, a pug dog has a face that only a mother– or a very devoted pet owner– can love. Hey, now don’t take me wrong, I love animals. One of my favorite movies is “Milo and Otis,” ok?? I found this while dropping cards and it made me bust out laughing.

But LOL! What a funny picture! Pugs may not be the most beautiful of dogs, but it looks like they have the patience of Job! I found the photo at James Tan’s Weblog.

OMG that’s funny. That is one cool costume! LOVE that hair! We don’t “do” Halloween, but my kids love to dress up. They have a huge, huge box full of funny clothes and costumes. I think if I got one of the kids that costume, they’d freak, though. But I’ll bet they’d do a great impersonation, anyway! LOL! Check out the website, there are loads of funny and cute costumes.

OK, I’m not going to overdo it with a flurry of Hoops & YoYo posts and I won’t rave about how much I love Hoops & YoYo. But they are so FUNNY in a really annoying and mischievous kind of way. Hee. My kids always send me Hoops & YoYo e-cards (they are characters invented by Hallmark), or watch the little videos when they are feeling low. Nothing like 20 minutes of belly-laughing to cheer a person up!
