This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Quiltcreator. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have ALWAYS wanted a handmade quilt, one that I have designed myself. But my days of sewing tiny stitches are over. However, having a specially-designed, heirloom and affordable quilt is more possible than every before! Because I’ve just been to www.quiltcreator.com, and wow! I’m so impressed. The website has a built-in software program where you can design your OWN quilts and have it made by quilt-making experts. I toodled with the customizer at www.quiltcreator.com and it’s very fun. I had a hard time making up my mind between the Kensington style, the Country Heirloom style, and the Vineyard Quilt. I finally decided on the Country Heirloom. I love the swatches to choose from. I have wallpaper that is just like those great big roses and peonies on the swatch I chose; they’re so romantic and old-fashioned. Isn’t it lovely?
So here’s the scoop on Quiltcreator. This would make a perfect gift!
- You can design your own quilts (all sizes from infant to king) or bedspreads right at the site, and save your work.
- All quilts and bedspreads are made from 100% cotton: shell, fill, and fabrics. The embroidery flossing is sometimes rayon
- It usually takes 6-8 weeks for the quilt to be sewn.
- All quilts and bedspreads have a hand-sewn “signature label” on the back, so you can sign your name. That’s sweet.
- There’s a gallery of ideas to help inspire you; the designs are breath-taking.
Crafters and quilters, check out the site, www.quiltcreator.com. The designs are so beautiful, I know you will love it!

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.
