When we got to church the next morning, the place was utterly deserted. It was a weird moment. When the truth finally dawned on us, we went and got donuts. We've never forgotten since. Now I have a self-setting clock beside my bed (you know ... if you unplug it and plug it back in, it sets itself automatically) ... only problem is, it thinks daylight savings time was last weekend and it fell back last Saturday night. I've been waking up by my cell phone alarm all week rather than try to convice my clock it jumped the gun ... and I have the hardest time getting used to the early dark! I'll be extra tired all week.
