Ever Been Spied On Before?

January 3, 2009

In my younger years, I’d been stalked and harrassed by various people in various ways. It was not welome, but there was an energizing thrill (from anger, I suppose) that made it exciting. Now that I am *hopefully* a little more mature, I don’t care for it too much. I am too busy for that kind of crap. Between replacing the spring plungers at the house, educating my kids, and trying to earn an income, I don’t take too kindly to spying or stalking or gossip.

But I discover that I am being spied on, through my blogs.

Curious onlooking is one thing. Conspiratorial spying and stalking so as to dig up information about my life is something completely different.

So, hey you nosy, gossipy person. Do me a favor and don’t read my blogs. I’m not THAT desperate for traffic that I want you around. Quit following my life on my blogs. I know who you are and where you are, and I’m watching you watching me. I know your IP number, what Internet service you use, what kind of computer you have, what browser you use, when you visit, and what pages you visit.

P.S. I hope you’re happy with your brand new computer, you jerk.

P.S.S. To anyone reading this blog and wondering, “Is it me?!” NO it’s not you. The person to whom I refer knows EXACTLY who they are, and they are not wondering if it’s them. They know.

Just dropped by to leave my Entrecard. Sorry whatever happened. It sounds like it sucks!

Oh crap! I hate to hear stuff like that, but it seems to be an unavoidable part of being on the net. Makes me very very glad that I’ve put so little of my private life into my blogs. I hope you can find some way to get rid of the jerk.

Sounds horrible. Is there anything you can do? Some person keeps leaving obscene spam comments on our site and I don’t know what to do about that. It’s certainly not as bad as what’s happening to you! Hope you find a way to nail the little s**t.

Yowser, Rebecca, I only get spied on by the treasury department, but this sounds serious!

Hope you’re having a better day!

    Hi Ladies!

Just go to statcounter.com it will give you FREE IP address tracker for your blogs. Just remember, you have to reset the counter after it reaches 500, otherwise you’ll have to pay for the bandwidth.

    Best wishes,

Jeezzzzz! you can do that????? I’m only looking to see if you have any new snow! I sure am glad I got dressed before I got online!! šŸ˜‰

But seriously, it sounds bad. Sorry it’s happening to you! There are some sick stupid people in this world. I’d take all that info you have and report their sorry butts. Good luck to you on dumping that dirt bag person.

Now……. How do I figure out how to get me a new computer too. lol

This sounds way too creepy for me. Is this a personal thing or did you pick this problem up on the web? Safety in numbers!!! Keep everyone informed and be careful.

I have a stalker on my blog and she knows who she is as well. For some reason, there are those people who think that everything you say and think is about them when, in fact, it is not. I had to put on comment moderation after this person left a particularly nasty comment about a post that was in no way about her. I guess it’s a guilty conscience that does this.

Anyway, I’ve been trying to think of a good way to address this issue on my blog. Hope things get better for you so that you can enjoy blogging.

Many thanks for your concern and encouragement!! There is something I can do, and I will do it, if necessary. Right now, I’m watching the dude and tracking his movements. I am not going to tolerate this kind of crap.

I know the feeling and it’s just as bad getting hacked too. When someone hacked into my email addy I was so embarrassed as all my lovemails to my Fiance were in there and I am shy like that.

I have one too…unfortunately it is my much older sister-in-law trying to start trouble with my father-in-law and I. Yeah she thought that she was sneaking on too…that was the funny part!

I hope he leaves you be from now on!

I had the same thing happen. My bf broke up with me and his new gf started reading my blog every day. I checked my stats all the time, so I knew she was doing it. I posted publicly telling her to stop. She didn’t. I threw out a few insults. She kept coming back. I finally emailed my ex and told him to get her off my blog. He then said I was being disrespectful for the posts I made. Oh well – they’re both completely gone now, so I don’t worry too much about what he thinks of me. šŸ™‚

I am so sorry! You know, I have some websites that I built for helping my daughter to get recruited. and some of our local youth (and parents) have left inappropriate remarks in her guestbook. Through some investigation, I found the owner of some of the ISPs but one of the providers would not help at all. I really understand and feel your frustration.
