Did anyone go bananas and wait in line for hours, on Black Friday? I did it TWICE– one year I actually found some good sales without getting stampeded; the second time was useless. I decided that waiting in lines at 4am and scurrying through stores before having my morning coffee is just not my style. Needless to say, I was thrilled when merchants came up with Cyber Monday for us
lazy folks stay at home people.
I’m not doing too much shopping this year (trying to quit, you see, lol), but since I have four teenagers, I DO have to keep my eye on music deals. I haven’t found too many on stuff they like– some here and there– but I do see that there’s a terrific deal on a Christmas CD for kids: the 60 Christmas Carols For Kids. It’s part of the Black Friday Amazon mp3 deal going on (which, by the way, is very very good). The digital album, 60 Christmas Carols For Kids is usually priced at a little under $10, you can get it for only $3.69. Neat! I love those Christmas carols albums, too–even though some of those old songs are 300 years old, ya can’t beat them. They are STILL way better than the monkey music being produced today.
So check out the album if you are inclined. It would make a really nice stocking stuffer or as “mood music” for when the snow starts flying. It’s perfect for kids. 😀
