I wish I could say that I have been absent all week because of some magnificent project I’ve been working on. Nope. I’ve been slacking. Only writing when I absolutely *have* to. That, and the week flew by so fast I haven’t any time to catch up on it. My calendar says today is Friday, but I still haven’t made it past Wednesday night yet. I’m not feeling very bad about it, because it looks like a lot of my fellow bloggers are scarce with posts, too. It’s just the “end of the holiday” slump, I guess. I haven’t even had much oomph for mindless chatter on Twitter. I’ve just been out of it. I don’t even have the energy to write a Let’s Look Back on 2010 post, like I wanted. I always seem to get to those too late, anyway. By the time I’m ready to write it, it’s mid-January, and everyone has forgotten about 2010 already. I’m so behind the times.

So we’ve been watching movies and videos as a family, reading books, doing small things to enjoy each other’s company. Oh, and trying to clean the house since we never really got everything cleaned up after the renovation. But I’m not working too hard on that.

My daughter showed me this terrific video of John Gray. He is HILARIOUS! I have never seen such a funny comedian. He does a stellar imitation of Mr. T using a black sock. ROFL! And his imitation of his mom as he was growing up is classic. This guy is just so much fun.

I’m ready for 2011. I’m ready for a change from the dramatic ups and downs of 2010. I’m looking forward to learning how to ENJOY life even more. How about you?

Oh my gosh, that was great! John Gray is hilarious! Sometimes his comedy gets a bit borderline what is appropriate, but the rest of it is hysterical! I love his imitations! He does a hilarious imitation of himself as a little boy and his wishlist for Santa. We quote it often! LOL

A happy new year to you! šŸ™‚
