Uh oh. I just discovered that Buy.com has LEGO sets on their website. 
When my son finds out, he’s going to send me into bankruptcy. He’s a LEGO and Bionicle freak– he even has a blog devoted to the toys. He’s quite a good builder, if I do say so myself. :D But holy cow! Why oh why are LEGOs soooooo expensive?!
Well, there’s a ton of them for sale at Buy.com…. which helps ease the budget pain a little. At least he doesn’t play weird violent video games or anything. Buy.com actually has a superb collection of toys for all ages. Besides all the LEGOs and Bionicles, there’s Little Tikes, LeapFrog, Crayola, Duplos, Fisher-Price, craft kits, science-learning kits, development games, puzzles… and, well, just about everything under the sun! The prices are outstanding. I’ve ordered from Buy.com several times, and their prices aren’t the only thing that’s great– their free shipping is SUPERB. I got my stuff in a few days with FedEx! I love Buy.com.
They have some very good specials going on right now, too. Buy.com ALWAYS has stuff on sale, be it daily, weekly, “hot deals,” or special holiday pricing. They are a truly excellent store. You can browse by age group, brand, price, category, and by current deals. I think the place is a frugal girl’s dream!
Moreover, Buy.com has everything you need for your child: cribs, car seats, strollers, baby carriers, baby clothing, monitors, baby gates, etc etc. I wish they’d had Buy.com when my kids were babies, I could have saved a ton of money. And I could have saved up all that saved money to be able to get alllll those LEGO sets my sons now want! Sheesh! But maybe all this building will serve for a good purpose. Maybe he’ll grow up to build me a new house. I just hope it won’t have red and yellow and blue bricks…..
