Freaky Frugalite

OH NO, you probably groaned! But YES! This is the time when I hit the stores, scarfing up sales left and right, hoarding up for next year’s gift-giving/birthday gift season. I scour the ads, the online stores, and local stores for discounts and sales. And some people haven’t even had their Christmas– the Orthodox religion celebrates Christmas in January, apart from the Catholic December Christmas.

We also have a bunch of December and January babies around here. Can you believe that I know TWELVE people who have birthdays in December and January?! So for me, the shopping is NOT over. I managed to snag a few last minute gifts from Kmart, and they are still going strong with great deals. There’s a Craftsman 23-inch hand tool box I have my eyes on for $20. And a very cute Cars LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game for $25. Kmart has a ton of stuff for under $25, still. Some stuff is deeply discounted. You can check their website for the weekly ads, or get updates via email. Kmart is currently offering two $5 Kmart gift coupons if you sign up to receive their emails. I signed up!

Be frugal! Get next year’s shopping done this year. You can save a ton of money. AND get it all over with and RELAX when the next holiday season begins….
