Gah! Does this happen with all teenagers?! I have FOUR of them in my house now, and I can’t believe it! I just cannot believe that they are doing this!!!
They are taking from my keyboard and mouse stash!!! 
I’m a mouse-aholic. Yes! I’ve mentioned it before. I LOVE computer mouses, especially Microsoft mouses. ESPECIALLY those little wireless notebook mouses. 
ESPECIALLY those pretty ones in red, purple, and blue with white swirlies on them. I have small hands, and I cannot manage the whopper mouses the other companies chug out. So when there’s a sale on mouses, I usually snatch up a couple of them, and stash them. I burn through mouses and keyboards, because I work at home on my computer all day (and sometimes into the night). The cool thing about this is that I can claim all these purchases on my business expenses, and feed my mouse addiction without any guilt!
BUT. The children now have their own computers! Which means that they all need their own keyboards and their own mouses!!! Which means that I have to give them MINE!! Waaah! 
I had a very nice HP wireless keyboard (with flat keyboard tiles– ooo lala!) that I had to give away. And all my Microsoft mouses are gone. The kids took them. 
So you know what this means…. this means I need to BUY MORE!! 
Ah, there’s a silver lining to every cloud, no? Look what I found: 
Isn’t the keyboard pretty? I saw this model yesterday at the BigBox electronics store in my town– they were asking $59.99 for it! 
I couldn’t believe it, do they think I am made of money? No way! I may be a crazy peripheral addict, but I still have some frugalness left in me!
Well, I was cruising the Buy.com store this morning, and I found it!! The Microsoft Comfort Curve Keyboard for $20!! And it comes with a mouse! I ordered it. After all, I need a new one, right? I think the mouse is a wired one (I will only have wireless), so I can give that to the kids and they can give me my fancy wireless one back.
Anyway, I am thrilled. I have been wanting to try one of these curvy keyboards for a while now. I think I will love it. I love Buy.com for this– they are always having a sale: weekly sales, daily sales, specials, and right now they have a “Hot Deals” page, which is where I found this keyboard. PLUS– and this is one of the best things about Buy.com– you can pay for your order through PayPal. I love this! I hate using my credit cards because they have such extravagant APR purchase rates. This makes Buy.com better than anyone out there, in my opinion.
I’ll have to take a photo of my new loot when it comes in. I’ll probably do a review, too. Stay tuned!

we go through mice (mouses?) and keyboards like paper towels around here. Whenever I get a new wireless mouse, it disappears mysteriously overnight!

Oh my gosh!! Do you mean to say that there are TWO of us kinds of crazies in the world?! :D I am looking up more mouses as I type. :D
