I Promised Them

January 6, 2011

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hiltons of Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.

I know! I know! I’ve been putting it off for several years! Yesterday, I promised my kids that we WILL go on a vacation this year. We WILL. I must make sure I keep this promise. And it isn’t going to be a day trip to the local  zoo– it’s going to be a REAL vacation. I am hoping against hope that we can even leave the state for a few weeks. We’ve had dreams of seeing the United States together. Key places to see would be Washington, DC, Branson, Missouri, and Bryce Canyon, Utah.

I’ve heard so much about Branson, particularly the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. A lot of Christian musicians, comedians, and speakers meet there. There’s also a Youth Convention every year. My kids would SO love to attend something like that. And I would love to just RELAX and be totally pampered by the Branson staff.

Of course, we wouldn’t merely stay at the hotel– Branson is the entertainment capital of the midwest, did you know that? Besides hiking in the nearby Ozark Mountains, there’s Silver Dollar City (a 1880s western town), the Titanic Museum (WOW), and Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. And that just scratches the surface of things to do there.

Besides the family-friendly attractions and billions of things to do in Branson, the rates are excellent. Hotel rates are VERY affordable, more affordable than anything here in New York. Off-season rates are even better.

So I have to keep my promise. I don’t know exactly where we will be going this year, but I would LOVE to see Branson, that’s for sure. I’m keeping my options open, that’s for sure. 🙂
