I saw this video somewhere (sorry, I can’t remember where) and really like the new features. I’m usually one of the stragglers when it comes to updating anything, but I just jumped in and updated my blog. I’ve done it to a few of them. I love Wordpress 2.6!
I you noticed in the video, WP now has a wordcount tool. COOL! I have had the new version for a day now, and everything seems to be going OK (so far).

Rebecca: You probably know this by now but your other sites are showing the following when I click on them….This Account Has Exceeded Its CPU Quota….

Melanie, I am getting more eager to do the updates, just to be one step ahead of hackers. People who have any version older than 2.5 are under threat, already! Crazy! Usually the bugs are due to an incompatible theme or plugins. I’d rather have the security and just get a new theme or dump the plugins. It’s a sad statement of our times when we have to practically barricade ourselves because there are hackers at every corner. Sigh. I wish you well with your upgrade when it comes! :)

I just started my first Wordpress blog for one of my sites. My host had a quick install program for it, but it was an old version. I was lucky enough to be able to upgrade it before getting the blog all set up. I really like the new version. I’m debating now about moving my Blogger blog over to Wordpress.
