Hey you homeschoolers, I found another resource! It’s iCue. I looked at it the other day and thought it was another video site. After digging a little deeper today, I see that it’s more like a “social network” with educational videos. I haven’t tried out the videos, but that’s what I am most interested it. They are mostly NBC archived videos (iCue is run by NBC), but you can play games and discuss stuff in a forum. Could be a terrific teaching tool! What’s a little weird is that the “tour” video is hosted by the late Tim Russert. I intend to check out more of it later, but right now I’m off to look for some memory cards for the kids’ camera…

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.
