Whoa. Check out this baby, just in time for summer vacations– the JVC MiniDV Camcorder on sale at Buy.com. It’s $150 with free shipping!! What a steal! JVC is top quality- they make some of the best camcorders. When I was a girl, we were the first family in the neighborhood to get a video recorder (this was in the late 70s), because my dad was a TV repairman. Boy, those were the days– a video cassette recorder was this HUGE, 25-lb metal box that you double-strapped to your body to hold the recorder and cassette tape system, and then there was the actual camera, weighing another 7-8 lbs, with an extendable microphone. It was QUITE the formidable machine. And JVC had the reputation of providing some of the highest-quality machines around. I am SO thankful to see video recorders shrink in size. And the MiniDV camcorder takes small video tapes, your best bet if you are looking for the highest quality recordings. Finding a JVC brand and a MiniDV machine for $150 is a GREAT deal. Get it while it’s hot. It’s perfect timing, because my brother is looking for a camcorder and asked me to find one for him.
I found this one at Buy.com, surfing their weekly sale website. I have found great deals on electronics through their sales page– I’m so happy with my Kodak Z1012 camera and the battery recharger I got for it. Keep your eyes peeled at Buy.com every week for fabulous deals. Buy.com is known mostly for their exceptional prices in electronics, but they have everything under the sun there, too: clothing, shoes, textbooks, outdoor and garden stuff, appliances, everything! Bookmark the sale page and find some great sales!
