Keep It or Toss It?

Now that the warm weather has hit, I’m paying more attention to the shelf life of food. I am a very, very bad person– I thaw out my meat on my counter.

*dodges tomatoes*

I know! I know! I am bad! You don’t need to remind me. I just HATE waiting 4-5 days for the stuff to thaw, grr! By the time it is finally ready for cooking, I’ve changed my mind about dinner, lol! I’m getting better, though. I DID actually put tomorrow’s frozen chicken to thaw in the fridge for a few days, and not on the counter. So there is hope fo rme yet.

I heard about this website on some radio show: StillTasty. It’s cute! It’s marketed as “your guide to shelf life” of food and other stuff. Great one to bookmark. I thought it might come in handy for you Frugal Hacks this summer. šŸ˜€ Cuz sharing is nice. šŸ˜€
