Wayne Gilchrist lives in Montana. He has a couple of blogs, maybe you Entrecarders know about him: EZDIYElectricity and My Pictures of Montana.
On his blogs, he’s written about a family medical crisis: his wife’s 27 year old daughter, Amanda, had emergency brain surgery in Salt Lake City, UT. Wayne is flat broke. Hopefully, Amanda’s medical expenses are covered, but Wayne and his wife live in Montana and are staying in UTAH. That costs money. And no mother is going to leave her sick child in another state while she undergoes emergency brain surgery!
I don’t know Wayne very well, but I get his RSS feeds (he’s a master electrician, and I’ve been rewiring my home). Wayne has helped me out with a problem I had, too. He took time to write a long email to help me resolve a problem.
Well, Wayne is humbling himself and asking for donations. I’m donating some money because I know things have got to be pretty bad for a man to ask like that.
I’m asking you to donate, too. If everyone just gave FIVE dollars, JUST five dollars, imagine what a blessing that would be! Five bucks is a lot of money these days, but I can skip a pot roast this week or not rent a movie. How about you? Maybe you could give something up this week and help a family in need.
Please help Wayne out. Check out his post here.
Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given to you, good measure pressed down and shaken together and running over, they shall give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you measure, it shall be measured to you again.

Hi Rebecca,
Thank you very much for writing this post and helping my family and I get our message out. You are correct that this has been a very humbling experience. Frankly, it is quite embarrassing. My family and I are extremely grateful for everything everyone has done and continues to do to help us during this very trying time.

II Corinthians 9:7-8
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
