If you look at my NewYorkTraveler.blogspot.com blog, you will see that it's an older blog (my oldest) and I still keep it up. I do update it, but not as often. It's just the nature of blogging... plus, it is important that I continue to monetize my writing where I can. Hi Renee. Correct. Yeah, I know what you mean about keeping up with the ones you have. You do a good job, though-- yours are regularly updated and they are always so interesting! Lynne: Yep! I actually will allow the older ones to slowly (very slowly) fade into the background. I love my old blogs, so I'd never abandon them. But my attentions will be on the newer stuff. Sandy: I have niche blogs, so it's rather easy. When I make up a new recipe, I post about it on my cooking blog. When I figure out some computer hack, I write about it on my tech blog. When I travel, I write about it on my travel blog. Also, blogging IS my work. I am a Work At Home Mom, I work on my computer, all day. I spend.. probably... 9-10 hours a day at the computer every day. It's my job, my business. Ben: after getting your email, I see that I actually do have the best rate that web hosts offer. I pay yearly about $95 for Hostgator, the shared Baby Hatchling Plan which allows me unlimited domains, unlimited disk space, and unlimited bandwidth. I guess I could save even more money and pay 2 or even 3 years in advance, knocking the costs down. Now that I am comfortable with Hostgator and blogging, I think I may do just that.
