This is a fun questionnaire that allows us to get to know each other a little better. There are FOUR QUESTIONS that everyone can answer and then you have the option to add a fifth question of your own for those who are visiting your blog to answer in the comment section, along with commenting on the four standard questions you answered! Grab the badge for your post if you like:
1. When was the last time you had your picture taken with Santa?
GOSH. Maybe.. 40 years ago? I have an old photo of the experience around here somewhere, but it’s not digitized.
2. Which do you prefer – ham or turkey?
Turkey! Turkey rocks! There’s something about ham that makes my skin crawl, although I will bake it on occasion (because it’s so cheap). I don’t even care for bacon a whole lot. I know! I know! I am probably the only blogger and the only geek who doesn’t crave bacon. After that story about pigs devouring a farmer who had accidentally tripped into their pen, what little hunger for ham I had is gone. :ik:
3. Do you give more to charity in December?
I was going to answer no, but then I remember the bell-ringers from the Salvation Army. I always give extra to them in December. I appreciate the SA’s mission. I have even benefited from them. I have visited their Food Bank during some hard times. so have tried to give back to help others. It’s a very worthy cause. I also stayed at a SA hostel when I was a young acting student in Manhattan. While my peers were battling pimps and drunkards at the uptown YMCA, I was safe and sound in the SA Home for Women. They even had a security guard. No men were allowed upstairs in the rooms. I appreciated the safe environment. Unfortunately, the SA hostel is no longer there, apparently razed for some reason unknown to me. It was in the perfect location, too — in the Bryant Park/east side of town where there were shops and classy New York hotels. It was quite an experience!
4. Which US City would you most like to visit and why?
This is a tough one, actually. I really like NYC, so I don’t have a desire to see any other city in the US (I do have a lot of European cities on my list, though!). I guess I’d like to visit Oregon, perhaps… maybe … San Francisco or San Diego. I’d like to see the Pacific Ocean.
Now I get to ask you a question!
What is your favorite kind of cookie?
I like chocolate chip or something with frosting. :fuuds: Mmm, holiday cookies!

I make a mean no bake chocolate macaroon. It is hubby’s favourite because it has no eggs. I have been making it since I was in Grade 7. (Many moons ago)

OH Toll House chocolate chip cookies are the best!!!! Though I have rarely met a cookie that I didn’t like!

The honey baked hams are awesome. My whole issue with ANY meat is the fat. I refuse to eat even the tiniest portion of it. Makes me want to gag because I was required to eat it growing up and subsequently did toss it all up one time.
As for the question, so many to choose from but I guess give me a double stuff chocolate Oreo cookie and some milk and I’m golden.
OMG you don’t have a cookie gif. I’ll bring my own along with me – although I’m not sure if it will post lol

I don’t like bacon either!! I really don’t like the smell in the house…blech! It just lingers FOREVER.
Not a big cookie gal, but I would choose something not too sweet, like a biscotti.

I love so many cookies, but especially ones with peanut butter. I made these cream cheese filled cookies a year or so ago that were amazing, but they’re complicated and don’t travel well.

I do like me some double chocolate cookies. Then again, I like chocolate anything. Thanks for hooking up with the MQAM. See you again next week!
