I love to travel, but rarely have the chance. Someday I’m going to do it! My husband and I sometimes daydream together about it. Someday we’re going to get an RV and see the country. The United States is such a large country; you can travel to the next state or two and the landscape, people, and culture are completely different. The only things that seem to bind the people are the English language and American Idol TV shows, lol!
Buying an RV is very expensive. My relatives did it for a few years and sold it. They actually left it in better condition than when they got it! That’s why if when we travel, I think we’ll check into getting one of those Used RVs. Or, who knows, maybe we will strike it rich and we can buy a new one! Places like MotorhomeRV.com have great discounts, so why not? Some RVs are less expensive than a car or SUV!! What’s stopping us? RVs are actually cheaper than vacation homes, and I love them because they are so mobile. I’m also not very find of hotel rooms, as I have this horrible aversion to anything creepy, crawly, or germy (and hotels seems to be full of them). My relatives have traveled all over the States in theirs. What an experience!
How about you? Would you travel in an RV? <

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I’ve traveled across Australia five times on a bicycle. They’re a lot cheaper for fuel.
If I was traveling with my family I think I’d prefer to use a car and stay at motels. With the price of fuel and the versatility of a car I think we’d save money.
