Well, I have to say that I am REALLY loving my new account with Hostgator web hosting service!! I have not gotten one single “CPU Quota Exceeded” error ever! When I was with Bluehost, I got them ALL THE TIME. :-p I am really pleased with Hostgator. Their cPanel is great and they have a very good page of video tutorials that have come in very handy. I just wanted to recommend them if you are looking for a good hosting company. One of my blogging friends recently switched, and she too had great success. Her blogs were up in a matter of a day or two. I am really wowed by Hostgator. I have an affiliate with them, too, so if you ever decide to go with Hostgator, maybe you’d consider using my affiliate link? It costs you nothing to use my affiliate link, but I can earn $50. I’d be happy to help you out with any questions or give you any tech support that I can, if it comes to that. I’m not an expert or anything (don’t ask me for travel insurance quotes, either!), but I know my way around and I’ve helped a few people along the way. Well, my affiliate link badge is in my sidebar– it’s the cute alligator button to the left. Use it if you want. :D
So I love Hostgator! Thumbs up to this great company!

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I switched to Hostgator in the summer of 2007 I think after having a TON of trouble with Lunarpages (CPU quota stuff too) and I’ve only had one overload problem with Hostgator. I’m currently running about 18 blogs on my account and three websites so it’s holding up well.
What I like about Hostgator is that if you have a cpu problem with one of your domains they don’t shut down your whole account – just the affected domain and only for a short time (at least it was easily resolved when it happened the one time).
It’s the only shared hosting company I recommend these days.
