I got this in the mail. Isn’t it beautiful! My friend Karen from ChatBugKaren made it! I have been admiring her quilt work for eons.
I needed a new bag to carry my stuff to church and back. Now that I am in my mid 40′s, I figured it was time to retire my nylon backpack.
I’d spotted a deal at the online Target on a nice messenger bag, but when I went to check it out locally, it was too large and ugly. I suddenly remembered Karen — maybe she would make me a bag? YES! She even let me pick out the material for my bag! And she added a pocket for a water bottle at no extra charge!
If you need a new bag (or quilt!), definitely check out Karen’s Etsy shop. I’m sure you’ll find something you like.

What are you dragging to church that required a backpack?

Lin– besides my huge, 3-inch study Bible (you know I am such a hog for information), I have my notebook, water, phone, little cosmetic bag and a change of clothes because I clean a few rooms after church.
