This has got to be one of the funniest political impersonation skits, ever. It’s Dana Carvey from Saturday Night Live, waaaay back in the early 90s (remember those?), imitating then-president, George H.W. Bush. He did a superb job. I played the video for the kids last year (as– you know– a history lesson), and it’s now a running gag throughout the house– the parts about the “We have learned the lesson of Vietnam…” and the “Scaaary! Scaaary!” parts. They CRACK us UP!
So here it is. We’re going to gather ’round the computer and giggle again.

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

Thanks for the giggles this morning.
Have you seen Tim Hawkins’ “The Government Can?” I think your tribe might enjoy it. I saw it on YouTube.com.
