This has got to be one of the funniest political impersonation skits, ever. It’s Dana Carvey from Saturday Night Live, waaaay back in the early 90s (remember those?), imitating then-president, George H.W. Bush. He did a superb job. I played the video for the kids last year (as– you know– a history lesson), and it’s now a running gag throughout the house– the parts about the “We have learned the lesson of Vietnam…” and the “Scaaary! Scaaary!” parts. They CRACK us UP!
So here it is. We’re going to gather ’round the computer and giggle again.
