So, SO Tempted!

December 17, 2010

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Hilton Branson. All opinions are 100% mine.

Right now, the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing is having a holiday special, and I am SO tempted to take it!

It’s been a long, tough year for us this year. I know we need a vacation, a time just to have fun, to relax, especially for the kids. We’ve been feeling the pinch of a tough spring and summer. And my job has kept me hopping like crazy. Sometime during Christmas break, we are going to do NOTHING. No work, no chires, nothing. I’d like to travel somewhere, even if it’s just a day trip. But after reading about the wonderful things going on at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, it would be so wonderful to visit there!

For the holiday season, Branson is hosting Mr. and Mrs. Claus, lol. Santa stops in for breakfast every morning until December 19th, and he’s happy to be in the photos (in front of the glamorous Branson Christmas tree) until December 24th. Mrs. Clause read stories to kids (Branson is VERY family-friendly), too. It’s all very sweet.

My kids are a little too old for stories and photos. We’d be running around town, checking out the museums and historical sites! šŸ˜€ Branson is known as the entertainment capital of the midwest. Christian music artists have their concerts there, and notable ministers hold conferences there, too.

You’d never know that Branson was the entertainment capital of the midwest– their prices are so low. I once compared their hotel rates with ours here in New York, and the difference was stunning. It’s cheaper to travel to and stay at Branson than it is to stay in New York State. And the off-season costs at Branson are even more tempting. We always go during the off-season– right now, the rates are up to to 50% off in-season prices from December 12 to 30 at both classy Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. If you’re wondering what to do this winter break, check out the lnks. You just may be surprised at how affordable AND fun it will be!
