Spam For Hungry Children!

August 19, 2008

I have SEEN IT ALL, people, seen it all. You bloggers out there will know what I am talking about: spam. Not the canned sugary meat Spam, but the human garbage of type– spam as in JUNK messages. Thank God for the Akismet plugin, LOL! (Akismet is a little software program that detects spam comments on your blog, and blocks them from posting to your blog unless you allow it. It’s like a filter).

I hate sifting through Akismet messages, though. I have several blogs, and I get upwards of 2,000 Akismet captures a DAY. And most of the messages are absolutely, disgustingly LOATHSOME. A lot of time, I just click “Delete All” because I cannot bear to sort through the perverted and filthy crap that people animals dare to write.

So I was looking through the Akismet messages, mentioning everything from Fenterdren reviews to… other stuff, and I was ready to once again “Delete All” this morning when this short message caught my eye:

Please, do not delete the given message. Money obtained from spam will go to the help hungry to children ugandi

ROFL!! Oh, OK! I’ll post your link to a seedy site “to the help hungry to children ugandi”! Yeah!

    You tell ’em Mom!

If those hungry kids see these sites that are supposed to “help” them, they’ll sure stop being hungry!!

Simply ingenious ways animals invent to help people …

This must be endemic of late, because even on my little itty bitty blog I am now receiving 10-12 naughty or nonsense spams a day. It started after I began dropping more than 100 EC cards each day. I don’t know if the two have anything to do with each other…if it is only a coincidence…but…it is driving me nutso!

    That’s just hilarious….

Receiving more spam through entrecard drops might be thanks to the new features that some bloggers have on their blog? Like the “who has dropped latest”?

Well, you might want to make sure people find “help hungry to children ugandi.”

That wonderful charity is right up there with the famed “To Money People Eating Want India,” “Ethiopia Angel Basket Bread For” and even the time-tested “Animals Wooden Crow Festive Pie Bed Sheet Net Mosquito Day Night Manifest.”

Your decision may have been a bit hasty.
