Well that was a wild week. I blogged about getting inundated with spam by a certain few IP addresses, and it got a little attention– looks like everybody who had WordPress blogs was getting clobbered! The IP keeps changing, of course. Earlier this week, it was 90.102.64.127 and then there were the .150 to .153 digits. Now I’m getting more, albeit not as much, from .174. CRAZY! Can’t anything be done about stuff like this, besides *hoping* that Akismet gets it and deletes it? Blogger doesn’t have this problem, it seems. Why not?

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

I know, it’s actually ONE of the reasons I’ve decided to stay with Blogger at least for now…I NEVER have a problem with spam. Blogger is just so easy peasy lemon sqeezy, it’s hard to think of leaving…
