I’ve always loved Sears. I’ve been going to them ever since I was a little girl. I buy my major appliances from them and I trust their tools (I only buy Craftsman). Now, I am so gratified to learn that Sears helps families in need. That is so cool. I try to make it a point to support companies that share their blessings with others.
The Sears Heroes at Home program is very cool! This program gives away Sears gift cards to families that have a family member serving in the U.S. military. How cool is that?! So far, over 30,000 families have been helped by generous online donations by people like you and me.
Please consider giving to people in need this holiday season, and year-round! To donate to the Sears Heroes at Home gift registry, just click the link to the Sears Heroes at Home website. You’ll see a button that says “See How You Can Help.” Donations made to the gift registry are not tax deductible. Gift cards of equal value are given to military familes equally. You can check out all the details at the Sears website. They’ve made it easy to give and to see the results of what donations are doing.

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.
