Remember the lesson from Mrs Mecomber, girls and boys: NEVER buy anything online without first looking for promo codes and online coupons! I have saved a TON of money in so doing. I do a lot of online shopping (probably 70% of all my shopping is done online), so I am always looking for more and better coupon sites. The grocery coupons are rather difficult to find, I think. But here’s a cool website that offers them! SupermarketCoupons.com. Nice thing is, you don’t have to save money *only* online, either. SupermarketCoupons.com offers printable grocery coupons, save-to-store coupons (to save on your store loyalty cards, etc), and online grocery coupons. And they also have Hanaford grocery store coupons, something I’ve been searching for! Check them out. Looks like a great website.

You’ve got a great blog, a great template, good content, but you need more readers! What to do? Why not promote your blog offline? This is the “in” thing to do these days– buy business cards or t-shirts and promote your site! I bought business cards for my travel blogs, and I love them! I got them through VistaPrint, one of my absolute favorite printing websites. I first heard of Vista from the guy who cut down a large tree on my property. He had the nicest business cards, and he said he got them for free from VistaPrint. Vista offers free, simple cards for people to try out. I took them up on their offer, and was so impressed with their customer service and pricing that I bought a whole box of customized cards for my travel blogs. I leave my card when we travel, or use them to give to people who are interested in our excursions.

I’m planning on getting some t-shirts printed up for us with my logo, and possibly expanding my new cards to include all my blogs. I highly recommend VistaPrint. They have more than cards and t-shirts, too! They have car magnets, rubber stamps, invitations, stationery, sticky pads, wall decals, calendars, and loads and loads more– and everything is fully customizable. And their prices make me very happy. They have some free products if you are timid about jumping right in (but you needn’t be). And I have a handy little promotional code for you for your order at VistaPrint. Ready?

Use the code VPRINT25 for 25% Off your purchase, site-wide, at VistaPrint.

Send your kids off to school with a t-shirt promoting your website, or have a business card with your url on it– how cool is that! I love VistaPrint, and I know you will, too! Check them out! <

School is just about to start! The kids and I (mainly the kids, heh) have been cleaning the house and sorting through endless boxes of clothing, in preparation for winter. This time of year is also our traditional “shopping” time of year when I get them all geared up for their lessons. We use a combination of textbooks and computers for our homeschool. Paying for all the supplies ourselves can be SO expensive, so I’ve devised little ways to save money.

For one, with gas prices the way they are right now, I have been doing a lot of online shopping these days. It is so convenient, I don’t have to run out to the malls, and it helps to keep my husband’s job (he’s a delivery man). :D I have also learned to ALWAYS check for coupons and promo codes online. Never, never, never pay full price for anything without checking for online coupons! I have a special folder of bookmarks to check for deals; my favorite site is FindSavings.com. I find coupons for everything under the sun– AbeBooks and Scholastic for our textbooks (Scholastic currently has 20% off $49 purchase right now), Office Depot for our printer ink and office supplies (they do free delivery and are having a special $30 off your $150 purchase), Sears for clothing and household linens, and Tiger Direct for all the electronic doodads and batteries we need. Tiger Direct is one of my favorite electronics store because they are so inexpensive– with a coupon, the prices are almost criminal, they are so low.

So remember what the Freaky Frugalite says: NEVER buy anything online without checking for coupons and promo codes first! Why pay full price when you can save money??
