I hadn’t done any of those goofy Internet quizzes in a long time. So when my pals Gerard and Karen did the “What Kind of Jungle Animal Are You?” quiz, I was intrigued.

I wasn’t too impressed. OK, I’ll admit that I am NEVER too impressed with most of the wingbat Internet quizzes! The questions are too general, too predictable. One of them should have asked, “Can you detect the intent and predict the result of this very obvious question we’re about to ask you?”

That will probably score you one for the “Mathematical and Logical” multiple intelligence, wouldn’t it? :-p lol. But I will argue that you don’t have to be good at using numbers and solving math problems to have logical intelligence. It ain’t necessarily so. Logic involves much more than working with numbers (or “being good” or “liking” to work with numbers). So that’s what I mean when I say the quiz is too simple. (And FYI, I did score high in the “Debating-istic” section, lol!).

Still, you don’t have to be accurate to take a fun quiz. Here is what I got.

One of the questions was “I know myself well.” I got a kick out of that. Unless you answered “I am always like this,” your quiz results will be skewed, because the quiz is entirely based on self-diagnosis. LOL.

But like I said, it’s a cute quiz. And me being the curious mischief-maker that I am, took the quiz a couple of times, changing the location, age, and answers to see what happened. All it seemed to do was change the word “recognize” to “recognise” in the questions…

Well, I took this quiz anyway. I know a lot of you amazing bloggers are cat people. :D Thought you’d like it, especially since everyone else is watching the Super Bowl.

I’m kind of surprised. I like my coffee with a little bit of sugar, and cream. I used to drink it black when I worked in radio (ohh those 1am shifts and then I’d have to get up at 4am to do the Morning Show! ugh!). I stopped drinking coffee for years after that (became a tea drinker), but after having my second child, I NEEDED coffee. That kid NEVER slept! So since then, I’ve been a coffee freak. How do you rate?

Hoh boy! I think that sums up my marriage, all right! When we first were getting to know each other, and he was talking to a friend contemplating marriage to me, he admitted, “But she makes me feel like doing the craziest things!”

I am very good at remembering faces, but not usually names. I almost *always* blitz a person’s name out of my head during introductions. I just hate that. I have to work very hard at remembering. I’m better with written things, I think.

Well anyway, I guess I am pretty good at faces! I got a 100% for facial recognition.

The quiz is in three parts, and takes about 15-20 minutes.

There’s also a test I want to try, called Sheep Dash. You take the first test without having had coffee or tea, and then you take the test again after drinking. Hee hee! I wonder if coffee would really make much a difference? I’ll have to try it and see!

Actually, I’m procrastinating. I have had two whirlwind days and last night I crashed. It felt so good to sleep late and sit around and drink coffee. :bop:

But… the animals and kids are clamoring for their vittles. And everyone is Twittering without me, so…. off I go into the cruel, cruel world! See ya there!

And here’s a practical quiz from Pratt & Lambert, the paint company. It gives you your colors that best suit your personality and your home. I liked this one, although the choices were a little overbearing. The site has a description of your style and a short listing of paint colors to paint your house (or for frilly stuff like party favors first birthday or whatever). It’s nice– I think I liked all the colors in the swatches presented to me with the quiz. I’m actually going to keep this handy should I repaint the rooms around here again!

I’m surprised I didn’t get a negative number for Dixie. I’m not 100% Yankee, however, having a healthy “Mid-Atlantic” vocabulary and accent. In drama school in Manhattan, we had to take Voice & Speech to rid ourselves of any colloquialisms and accents. Some people had a really, really difficult time doing it, especially those from Germany, Massachusetts, and Georgia.
