I have not tried this– I saw it at Buy.com at their sale page– it’s a VACUUM! A handheld vacuum! More specifically, the *ahem* “Dirt Devil 0216SPC Kurv Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner” in “spice” color. It looks like a vase… or a woodwind instrument! I think I love it! But I had no idea how to use the thing, not until I saw a model posing with it.
Aha, so that’s how you do it. It looks really neat! And when it’s not in use, hey, you could keep it on your coffee table or on a bookshelf. No one would guess what it really is!
I’ve traditionally shied away from handhelds because I am such a miserly tightwad they tend to be a little pricey. But, as usual, Buy.com has some really fantastic prices. This little spicey baby is just $30! And the shipping is free!
I’m a big fan of Buy.com. I think they have some of the best prices around, an excellent selection, terrific customer service, and free shipping for a lot of products. Buy.com also partners with smaller companies, so as to offer a huge selection of products and brands. Buy.com is known for it’s electronics and deep discounts on them, but Buy.com also offers tons of stuff– everything from appliances to clothing to books, to cool-looking handheld vacuums!
By the way– regarding my earlier post about the Roomba vacuum and my teeth falling out after seeing it listed for $400-$600 online– Buy.com has Roombas for $200, $250!!! Check those out, too! And don’t forget to watch their sale pages for deals.

I actually go the cone shaped one for Christmas 2007 (don’t worry, I asked for it!), and it’s quite handy!
