Having a weird day today. It’s crazy busy for me around the house, as is usual on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; but today online, it’s like time is frozen. No business, no paid post opportunities, and barely any comments on any of my blogs. It’s a little eerie, like the online world is static today. My traffic is up, but there’s only a trickle of interaction. Is it just me? Are you experiencing a lull today, this week? WEIRD! I think I’m going to shut off the computer and read a book. I just got “Weird New York” from the library and it seems like a perfect book for such a weird day!!
I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.

Well, yesterday was like that for me. Slow internet, nothing but spam… oy vey. Today things are looking up. I love the reading-a-book idea. I actually have a stack of yet-untouched magazines to read, and that NEVER happens! So I may go offline too for a non-digital interlude. Do you think the massive shrinking of ad budgets is affecting pay-per-post now? Hmmm. Anyway hang in there, take two kittehs and blog in the morning! Bonnie

Things are always quiet by me. Recently I didn’t post much because I was taking care of a sick toddler and infant and got no sleep. But, even before that, things have been slow on my blog. I’m not sure why it’s not interesting to people, but I mostly write for me…sigh.
