OH… MY… GOSH! My brother and I laughed so hard over that! I sympathize with Kathy: once and only once did we EVER venture into Chuck E. Cheese, and we vowed to never return. The mouse is bad enough, but the prices are simply outrageous! And they stamp each person who enters, supposedly so that no one will “get lost” (and you can come back if you need to leave temporarily); but for us, it was just too weird… and NOISY… and CRAZY! Glad you got out of there!

Twice I’ve had to enter a House of Chuck and twice I’ve vowed never to return. I’m still good on my second pledge. I have two kids and there are so many other ways to celebrate a birthday. I cannot imagine working at one.

AWESOME! I loved Chuck E Cheese … in 3rd grade. Never did go back again, not sure why. I remember it as a lot of fun but obviously my mom didn’t appreciate it. =) I can’t imagine working there!

I set foot in a Chuck E. Cheese once and only once in my life. Never again. And here I thought I had it bad working in a fast food restaurant. My God. Diapers in the ball pit?!?!

I only had one job in retail–at a dry cleaner. That was long ago and far away where people were more civil than they seem to be today. Any one who can work with other people’s children are very special, dedicated and saintly or insane. But that’s just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

Yeah, I always hated taking my son to Chuck E Cheese. Kids running around like crazy (much like they are allowed to do in grocery stores) and parents accepting this behavior. When you consider the recent trend (recent like in the last 15 years) of parents getting into fist fights at little league games, it’s not really all that surprising that parents are scrapping in a Chuck E Cheese restaurant. The decline of our society and it’s collective behavior is troubling, to say the least.
