WFW: Priorities

February 17, 2010

Teach me, O Lord, the way of Your statutes, and I shall keep it to the end. Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, for I delight in it. Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and not to covetousness.

Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, and revive me in Your way. Establish Your word to Your servant, who is devoted to fearing You.

…The earth, O Lord, is full of Your mercy; teach me Your statutes. Psalm 119:33-37, 64

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you will also appear with Him in glory. Colossians 3:1-4

I think we would all be a lot better off if we prayed this one. And it sure would make it easier to set our priorities, eh? šŸ™‚

Ah, yes! Hidden with Christ! No better place to be, eh? I delight in the path of Your commandments; Your word is a light to my path!
