As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and it’s place remembers it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, to such as keep His covenant, and to those who remember His commandments to do them. -Psalm 103:15-18
Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. -Psalm 90:12
Crazy busy here this week. So I thought I’d have a little fun and blend Wordless Wednesday and Word For Wednesday. :D My son wanted to set up our dining room table this way, to show off the beautiful cherry wood. For years, we’ve kept table pads and tablecloths on it. It’s a very nice change, I think. To make it even more special and fancy, I put a vase of flowers on the table. ;)

I’m a married mom with 4 kids. We live in Upstate New York in an old 1855 house with our five pets (yes, five, *sigh*). Life is never dull, and exciting things just seem to always happen to me... why me... when I'm not running around the house fixing things, I do freelance writing and blogging. My work and opinions have appeared in Salon.com, USAToday, eHow.com, iMedia.com, the Associated Press and I've even been interviewed by TIME and The Wall Street Journal about blogging. Can you believe it?! Here is where I express my zany, creative, motherly side.
